Experience2006 to present > Web Designer & DeveloperLanrocIn collaboration with Lanroc, developed and created a PHP/MYSQL Web data management system and designed websites, business cards, logos for Lanroc and other clients.
Redesigned EMHWARE software interface and developed several applications for use with the PHP software. 2005 to present > Web Designer & VolunteerTrenton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), Trenton, ONRedesigned the entire Trenton MFRC website to create a unique and comprehensive internet resource for both French and English users. The site is receiving great reviews from site users, MFRC staff, and the MFRC board of directors. Worked closely with the Employment Assistance Coordinator to conceptualize, design and launch the Trenton MFRC JobShop Website to increase employment opportunities for Military Family members. Since June 2006, an average of 10 new JobShoppers have registered every month at a successful hiring rate of 30%. Developed interactive databases and content management websites for both the MFRC and the JobShop sites. Volunteer – working directly with all the MFRC programs coordinators to actively and consistently review and update the MFRC website content. 2006 > Web Designer & Team LeadLoyalist College, Belleville, ONSelected Best by the Animation Program students among 40 other designs. Managed a team of 40 students to successfully produce and build the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Centre Website within a period of a week. Later referred by faculty to work with the Academic Resources Coordinator to finalize the website for use by the college staff for professional development. 1997-2003 > Aircraft Recovery & Salvage Instructor8 Wing Aircraft Recovery & Salvage, Trenton, ONDeveloped an extensive training package using PowerPoint presentations and Excel worksheets for calculations. Taught US Air National Guard, British Forces and CF members in Canada and in the United States. Designed a training Web site and training CD for members across the CF. Participated in Aircraft Recovery and Salvage conferences in the US as a presenter. 1983 – 2006 > Aviation TechnicianCanadian ForcesJunior leader frequently commended for dedication and hard work in performance of duties. Participated in several deployments in Canada and abroad. Developed and implemented an innovative maintenance plan for aircraft inspection, defining teams and priotizing tasks over a period of 14 days. Participated in the restructuring of the AVN trade across the CF.
